Usually when low back pain is occurring, it’s a sign that there’s an underlying biomechanical issue in the spine. Essentially, one or more bones is fixated and not moving the way it should. This can cause reduced global range of motion, pain, tightness, and structural changes. The low back is an area that tends to have compensatory biomechanical and structural changes as a result of a root cause that is located in the neck and/or pelvis. For this reason, only by looking at the body from a holistic, integrative view can we correct the cause of low back pain.

This patient was once concerned she may need surgery for her low back, and instead was able to avoid further medical intervention.
